Terms of Service

Please read these Terms of Service carefully before using any services offered by The Booking Plug. By submitting a lead form, engaging with our ads, communicating with us via direct message, or entering into any service agreement with us — you agree to be bound by these terms. If you do not agree, do not use our services.

These terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you ("Client") and The Booking Plug ("we," "us," or "our"), a digital marketing company serving local service businesses in Washington DC, Maryland, and Virginia.

01Services Provided

The Booking Plug provides digital marketing services to local service businesses in the DMV area, including but not limited to:

Video ad creation and production for Facebook and Instagram

Paid advertising campaign setup, management, and optimization

Lead generation through Meta's advertising platform

Free 10-day trial campaigns as described in our offer

Ongoing monthly marketing services following a successful trial

The specific scope of services for each client will be agreed upon prior to commencement of any campaign.

02The Free 10-Day Trial

The Booking Plug offers a free 10-day trial to qualifying local service businesses in the DMV area. The following terms apply to this trial:

What's Included

One video ad filmed at your location. Campaign setup and launch on Facebook and/or Instagram. Active management for 10 days.

What's Not Included

Ad spend — the Client is responsible for all advertising costs, approximately $200 total ($20/day for 10 days), paid directly to Meta.

No Guarantee of Results. The free trial is provided as a demonstration of our service. We do not guarantee a specific number of leads, inquiries, or booked appointments. Results depend on your market, competition, ad spend, and other variables outside our control.

The video content produced during the trial is yours to keep regardless of whether you continue with our services after the trial period ends.

Acceptance into the free trial is subject to availability and at the sole discretion of The Booking Plug. We reserve the right to decline any applicant.

03Ad Spend & Payment

All advertising spend is paid directly by the Client to Meta (Facebook/Instagram). The Booking Plug does not collect, hold, or process ad spend funds on behalf of clients.

The Client is responsible for maintaining a valid payment method on their Meta Ads account

The Booking Plug is not liable for any charges, overages, or billing issues that occur within the Client's Meta account

Recommended ad spend for the free trial is approximately $200 total. Spending less may significantly reduce results

For ongoing monthly services, payment terms will be outlined in a separate service agreement

The Booking Plug charges for our time, strategy, and creative services — not for the ad spend itself. These are two separate costs and the Client controls the ad budget at all times.

04Ad Account Ownership & Access

The Client retains full ownership of their Facebook Page and Meta Ads account at all times. The Booking Plug may be granted partner or admin access to manage campaigns on the Client's behalf.

The Client grants The Booking Plug permission to create, edit, launch, and manage ad campaigns within their account

The Client may revoke access at any time by removing The Booking Plug from their Business Manager or ad account

The Booking Plug will never make unauthorized purchases or changes outside the agreed scope

Upon termination of services, The Booking Plug will remove its access within 5 business days upon request

05Meta Platform & Third-Party Limitations

The Booking Plug operates campaigns on Meta's advertising platform (Facebook and Instagram). We have no control over Meta's policies, algorithms, or platform decisions.

The Booking Plug is not responsible for: Ad rejections or disapprovals by Meta, account restrictions or bans imposed by Meta, changes to Meta's advertising policies that affect campaign performance, platform outages or technical errors on Meta's side, or algorithm changes that affect reach and delivery.

In the event that Meta rejects an ad or restricts an account, we will work with the Client to create compliant alternatives. However, no refund or extension of services is owed as a result of platform-level decisions.

06Intellectual Property & Video Content

All video content filmed and produced by The Booking Plug on behalf of a Client is owned by the Client upon delivery. The Client grants The Booking Plug a non-exclusive license to use this content for the purpose of running advertising campaigns on their behalf.

The Booking Plug may use anonymized, aggregated campaign data for internal reporting and improvement

The Booking Plug may showcase campaign results (without revealing confidential client information) as proof of concept in its own marketing, unless the Client requests otherwise in writing

The Client warrants that they have the right to use any materials, trademarks, or business information they provide to us

07Client Responsibilities

To ensure the best possible results, the Client agrees to:

Provide accurate information about their business, services, and target market

Be available and responsive during the filming and campaign setup process

Maintain an active Meta Ads account with sufficient ad spend budget

Follow up promptly with leads generated through our campaigns

Notify The Booking Plug of any business changes that may affect the campaign

Not interfere with, pause, or modify active campaigns without first notifying The Booking Plug

The Booking Plug is not responsible for lost leads or reduced performance resulting from the Client's failure to respond to inquiries in a timely manner.

08Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, The Booking Plug shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to:

Loss of revenue, profits, or business opportunities

Loss of data or business information

Costs of substitute services

Any damages arising from Meta platform decisions, algorithm changes, or account actions

Any damages resulting from the Client's failure to follow up with generated leads

Maximum Liability. In no event shall The Booking Plug's total liability to the Client exceed the total amount paid by the Client to The Booking Plug in the three (3) months preceding the claim.

09Termination of Services

Either party may terminate the service relationship at any time with reasonable notice.

The Client may discontinue services at any time by notifying The Booking Plug in writing via email or direct message

The Booking Plug reserves the right to terminate services if the Client violates these terms, engages in abusive behavior, or fails to maintain the required ad spend

Upon termination, The Booking Plug will cease all campaign activity and remove its access to the Client's accounts within 5 business days

Fees owed for services rendered prior to termination remain due and payable

The free trial may be terminated at any time by either party. No compensation is owed by either party upon termination of a free trial.

10Confidentiality

Both parties agree to keep confidential any proprietary business information shared during the course of the service relationship. This includes but is not limited to pricing, campaign strategies, client lists, and business performance data.

The Booking Plug will not disclose identifiable client information to third parties without written consent, except as required by law.

11Governing Law & Disputes

These Terms of Service shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the District of Columbia and the State of Maryland, without regard to conflict of law principles.

In the event of a dispute, both parties agree to first attempt resolution through good-faith negotiation. If a resolution cannot be reached within 30 days, disputes shall be submitted to binding arbitration in the DMV area.

12Changes to These Terms

The Booking Plug reserves the right to update these Terms of Service at any time. When changes are made, we will update the "Last Updated" date at the top of this page.

Continued use of our services after any changes constitutes your acceptance of the updated terms. We encourage you to review these terms periodically.
